Tree Plantation Drive


Social Service Group (SSG) of IIITDM Kurnool organized a tree plantation drive on 11th May 2019. It was conducted second time in the academic year 2018-2019 after conducting once at the time of Institute reopening. The event was a huge success and saw active participation from BWC members, Guest Speakers, and participants of the Faculty Development Program. The participants planted saplings in designated spots along the paver block pathway. The event was organized in coordination with the Andhra Pradesh Forest Department.




Blood Donation Camp


The Social Service Group of "IIITDM Kurnool" organized a blood donation camp in association with Indian Red Cross Society on 19th of March, 2019 (Tuesday). The healthy participation by students, staff, and faculty in the event is highly appreciated. During the camp, the total 53 donors reported for blood donation and 53 units of blood was collected.



Dental Health Checkup Camp


The Social Service Group (SSG) of "IIITDM Kurnool" in association with "G Pulla Reddy Dental College and Hosptial " was conducted a free dental health checkup camp in our campus on 30th of August, 2018 (Thursday).


EMOTIONAL STRESS HANDLING SESSION ON 01-04-2022


The National Service Scheme Unit of IIITDM Kurnool organized an expert talk on “Emotional Stress Coping Strategies” on 1st April 2022. Prof. V. Sarma explained the importance of mental health on one’s thinking, feelings, and actions. He also discussed factors contributing to mental health problems. The event emphasized awareness of the importance of mental health.




TREE PLANTATION DRIVE ON 08-04-2022

A Tree Plantation Drive was organized by the National Service Scheme Unit of IIITDM Kurnool on April 8, 2022, as a tribute to one of the beloved students of IIITDM Kurnool, late Mr. Akash Murali. The Director, Faculty, and Students paid their tributes to him by participating in the tree plantation drive


DONATION DRIVE ON AMBEDKAR JAYANTI ON 14-04-2022


Ambedkar Jayanthi was celebrated at IIITDM Kurnool on 14th April 2022, to commemorate the 131st birth anniversary of Dr. B. R. Ambedkar, the father of the Indian constitution. On this occasion, students, faculty, and staff of IIITDM Kurnool gathered in the seminar hall and paid their respects to Dr. B. R. Ambedkar. Following which a donation drive was organized by the National Service Scheme (NSS) unit of IIITDM Kurnool. Students and Faculty had visited an orphanage “Compassionate Society Home of Hope", and a nursing home - “Amma Vrudhula Anadha Ashramam", and have donated essential items worth Rs. ₹47,000 to the needy. It was an enriching and heart-warming experience for the students and faculty alike. 

BLOOD DONATION DRIVE ON 14-06-2022

World Blood Donor day was observed at IIITDM Kurnool on 14th June 2022. National Service Scheme Unit of IIITDM Kurnool, in association with Red Cross Kurnool and Institute’s doctor- Dr. Lakshmi Prasanna Reddy, had organized a blood donation drive at the seminar hall. Faculty, Students, and staff voluntarily took part in the event and donated a generous amount of 60 units of blood altogether.


MEDICAL CAMP FOR SCHOOL STUDENTS ON 10-08-2022

The National Service Scheme Unit of IIITDM Kurnool in association with the Institute’s doctor, organized a free medical camp at Balayogi Gurukulam School on 10th August. The students at the school were screened for various ailments, including blood pressure, SpO2, temperature, and dental problems. All the faculty and students from our Institute actively volunteered for the event.
