Tree Plantation Drive
Social Service Group (SSG) of IIITDM Kurnool organized a tree plantation drive on 11th May 2019. It was conducted second time in the academic year 2018-2019 after conducting once at the time of Institute reopening. The event was a huge success and saw active participation from BWC members, Guest Speakers, and participants of the Faculty Development Program. The participants planted saplings in designated spots along the paver block pathway. The event was organized in coordination with the Andhra Pradesh Forest Department.
Blood Donation Camp
The Social Service Group of "IIITDM Kurnool" organized a blood donation camp in association with Indian Red Cross Society on 19th of March, 2019 (Tuesday). The healthy participation by students, staff, and faculty in the event is highly appreciated. During the camp, the total 53 donors reported for blood donation and 53 units of blood was collected.
Dental Health Checkup Camp
The Social Service Group (SSG) of "IIITDM Kurnool" in association with "G Pulla Reddy Dental College and Hosptial " was conducted a free dental health checkup camp in our campus on 30th of August, 2018 (Thursday).
EMOTIONAL STRESS HANDLING SESSION ON 01-04-2022
The National Service Scheme Unit of IIITDM Kurnool organized an
expert talk on “Emotional Stress Coping Strategies” on 1st April 2022. Prof. V.
Sarma explained the importance of mental health on one’s thinking, feelings,
and actions. He also discussed factors contributing to mental health problems.
The event emphasized awareness of the importance of mental health.
TREE PLANTATION DRIVE ON 08-04-2022
A Tree Plantation Drive was
organized by the National Service Scheme Unit of IIITDM Kurnool on April 8,
2022, as a tribute to one of the beloved students of IIITDM Kurnool, late Mr.
Akash Murali. The Director, Faculty, and Students paid their tributes to him by
participating in the tree plantation drive
