Research Focus: Additive Manufacturing (AM) with applications in Defence, Aerospace, and allied fields.
Are you a recent graduate (Master's degree or equivalent) with a strong interest in pursuing a Ph.D. in Additive Manufacturing?
We are seeking a highly motivated and talented full-time Ph.D. student to join our research group at the Indian Institute of Information Technology Design and Manufacturing (IIITDM) Kurnool. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field, with a demonstrated interest in Additive Manufacturing technologies (e.g., 3D printing), adapting 3D printing for Electronic Equipment’s.
Responsibilities:
Conduct research on cutting-edge Additive Manufacturing techniques and applications.
Participate in the development and execution of research projects.
Analyze data, write research papers, and present findings to good academic journals.
Collaborate with faculty and other researchers.
Contribute to the overall research environment of the group.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or allied of Engineering or a closely related field.
Strong academic background with a decent CGPA (This does not determine your skill, anyday hardwork beats talent, not the other way around)
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experience with computer-aided design (CAD) software is a plus.
Strong communication and writing skills. (This will you nurture with time, don’t worry, no one is born as English laurate from birth, you enlist the skill with time)
Ability to work independently and as part of a team. (When your supervisor is not there, your going to lead a team of Bachelor and Masters students, to ensure they learn from you and vice versa)
