About the Institute
Indian Institute of Information Technology Design and Manufacturing (IIITDM), Kurnool is an autonomous institute established in 2015. It is fully funded and managed by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India. It is aimed to become a Centre of Excellence for pursuing Design and Manufacturing oriented Engineering Education and Research domains. As on date, the Institute is offering 4 B.Tech programs, 6 M.Tech programs, and PhD programs (Full-time/Past-Time) in Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering and Mechanical Engineering Departments. The institute also offers PhD programs in the Department of Sciences.
About M.Tech. Programmes
The four-semester M.Tech. Programmes offered in various Disciplines and Programmes by different departments of the institute are based on the credit system and provide a student with a wide choice of courses. Each Programme comprises several core and elective courses and project work.

Students joined through CCMT are eligible for financial assistance in the form of Half-Time Teaching Assistantship (HTTA) at the rate of ₹12,400/- p.m.
M.Tech Students will be eligible for upgradation to Ph.D. if they satisfy the following criteria:
The candidate should have successfully completed a minimum of 2 semesters in the M.Tech. Programme.
The candidate should have a minimum CGPA of 8.0 in the prescribed courses.
A Committee duly constituted by the Director/Deputy Director will consider the application for up-gradation to Ph.D and make its recommendation to the Senate. After upgradation, they may opt for two degrees (M.Tech. & Ph.D.) subject to fulfilling the course requirements. Mode of Admissions:
1. Centralized Counseling for M.Tech Admissions (CCMT)
Students who qualified GATE can apply to the M.Tech programs offered in the institute through CCMT [Link:https://ccmt.admissions.nic.in/].
2. Self-Financed M.Tech Admissions
Students can apply to the M.Tech program without GATE. The admissions will be based on a written test. For more details go through the Advertisement [https://admissions.iiitk.ac.in/].
Eligibility:
Candidates should have minimum 60% marks (or CGPA 6.5 on a 10-point scale) for Gen/EWS/OBC-NCL whereas 55% marks (or CGPA 6.0 on a 10-point scale) for SC/ST/PwD in the B.Tech/B.E degree aggregate of all semesters/years.
